I also specialize in dreadlock repair and maintenance. Along with my services, I offer natural dreadlock home care and maintenance products that include a wide range of moisturizing ingredients. Consultations are required if you have questions regarding the services offered or to confirm if you qualify for a service. *all installations include the locs. Must be no younger than the age of 12 years old. Please read the details of the services before scheduling by pressing the (i) symbol at the top right of the service. If you fit the details of the service and have no further questions, then please move forward with booking that service. I will always go over the service at time of appointment. For Curly Genie Loc Installations, your hair must be at least 4 1/2 inches long. If your natural hair is longer the length chosen for your installation then your hair may be clipped. If you have a fine hair texture or low density hair (not a lot of hair strands), it is highly recommended that you schedule size small for a fuller look. Color request can be added after booking is complete by emailing dr.locgenie@gmail.com. Please don't not email request if you have not scheduled your installation. For Traditional Loc Extensions, your hair must be at least 2 inches and no longer than 4 inches. Any length longer than 4 inches can be: 1.) clipped for no additional fee or 2.) be instant locked for an additional fee depending on your longest length. Email Dr.locgenie@gmail.com for exact fee. POLICIES & BOUNDARIES AGREEMENT By booking any service with Dr. LocGenie, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies. DEPOSITS & REFUNDS All dreadlock extension and loc installation services require a deposit to secure your appointment. Deposits become NON-REFUNDABLE after 48 hours of booking. No exceptions will be made once the 48-hour window has passed. Deposits apply toward your service total. Deposits secure extended appointment time, preparation, and scheduling and are not transferable for cash value. APPOINTMENT APPROVAL REQUIREMENT All installation services are approval-based. An appointment is not valid unless it has been approved. Approval confirmation will be sent via the iBooking system. If you do not receive an approval email, your appointment is not confirmed. Booking without approval does not guarantee service. RESCHEDULING POLICY Installation appointments may only be rescheduled if canceled. Appointments may be moved to a later date up to 16 months from the original booking date. Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. All rescheduling is subject to availability. Appointments that are not approved cannot be rescheduled. CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY 50% of the service fee will be charged if an appointment is canceled the day before the scheduled service. 100% of the service fee will be charged for no-shows. Failure to appear for an appointment without notice results in forfeiture of all payments made. HAIR CLEANLINESS REQUIREMENT (CALIFORNIA COMPLIANCE) As an all-dreadlock service salon and in compliance with California state requirements: All hair must be clean upon arrival. Hair must be free of excessive buildup, oils, or residue. Clients arriving with dirty hair may have their appointment canceled without refund. SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY & QUALIFICATION Clients are required to read all service descriptions and requirements before booking. Booking a service confirms that you meet all qualifications. Failure to qualify for a service does not result in a refund. PRICING & PAYMENT All pricing is listed on the booking site. Pricing may be confirmed during consultation if requested. Payment plans may be available and will be disclosed at booking when applicable. Pricing is non-negotiable. AFTERCARE INFORMATION Aftercare instructions are part of the paid service experience. Aftercare information is not provided during consultations. Aftercare will be explained at the time of service. LATE ARRIVAL POLICY Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in: Reduced service time, or Cancellation without refund, at the salon’s discretion.
